How do I access the New York Times?

New User New York Times Setup

  1. Go to http://accessnyt.com
  2. In Find School… box type Monmouth University
  3. Select Monmouth University - West Long Branch, NJ from displayed institutions
  4. Follow step-by-step instructions for new user setup. You’ll use your MU email address as your username and select a new password – this will be used only for NYT account
  5. After setup is complete, and for returning users go to https://nytimes.com to access content
  6. If you have an existing paid NYT subscription, it may interfere with using a MU-sponsored account. You can settle any issues by contacting NYT at customercare@nytimes.com / 800-591-9233.
